How AEDP Counseling Can Help
As therapists trained in AEDP (Accelerated Experiential-Dynamic Psychotherapy), we have deep faith in your capacity to heal, grow, and transform. We believe that there is something in all of us that wants to grow, change, and strive toward more vitality in life. We will work with you to tap into your resilience, joy, and a solid sense of who you are and how you want to live.
Relationships Can Heal: So much of our pain in life comes from a sense of aloneness. Whether you struggle with depression, trauma, or just feeling stuck in life, we know that sincere connection can help to alleviate aloneness and pain. We will actively engage with you in the process of healing and growth. In the presence of this care, our clients often are able to discover within themselves inner stores of strength, compassion, generosity, calmness, and truth. This partnership can give people the courage they need to make changes and to face things that would be overwhelming on one’s own.
As therapists trained in AEDP, we participate actively with you in the counseling process. We support you in facing whatever distress has launched you onto this healing journey. We help you develop trust in yourself as you face your struggle, and as you become more curious about your deepest yearnings and your potential for growth. We actively explore how the therapeutic relationship is working for you, and are fiercely committed to helping you become your authentic and true self. We help you access your inner authority and confidence so you can guide your own life with more freedom and resilience.
At Colorado Counseling Center, Mary Claire Ferachi, Kevin Hales, and Paul Sigafus are trained in AEDP.
