What it’s like to work with Kelly

People who work with Kelly find her genuine and easy to talk to—even about difficult things. They appreciate how heard and understood they feel in working with her, and how she helps them view negative life situations from a different perspective. Clients frequently share how they appreciate Kelly’s guidance along their journey and her encouragement for them to persevere.

A Note From Kelly

“Joining my clients in their healing journey feels like an honor, and it fills me up to see them begin to experience the freedom they have been longing for. I get excited to work with people who are motivated to change and desire to become a better version of themselves. It’s a joy to support these clients as they take small but courageous steps in the right direction.

“I sincerely care about people, and I love to encourage people that their past mistakes do not define who they truly are. With a little vulnerability and willingness to take some steps, joy-filled living is truly possible. I am committed to my clients’ growth and will show up to sessions prepared to fully engage, without distraction. It is my goal to provide helpful and appropriate tools to help my clients reach goals that bring them more fulfillment in life.

“Our deepest need as humans is to feel “known” by others. By truly “hearing and seeing” my clients, they can sense my sincere care and my interest in knowing their story. I am qualified to help because I am human too—I have experienced pain in my past as well. It takes courage to trust someone with your deepest hurts and longings… but I’ve also learned that taking risks and being vulnerable in order to experience freedom is absolutely worth it.”

Outside of Counseling

Outside of providing counseling, Kelly loves to spend time exploring beautiful Colorado by mountain biking, skiing, swimming, paddle boarding, and hiking with her husband and two children. Her favorite solo activity is trail running, and she enjoys pushing herself towards new mileage goals each year. She also appreciates the “simple things” in life… cooking, playing games and watching movies with her family.
