We’re glad you’re here. Let’s take the next step to schedule your therapy appointment.
- If you need help deciding which counselor to work with, feel free to contact us or read more about our counselors here. You can also schedule a therapy appointment with the counselor of your choice.
- See our fees page for information about each of our counselor’s rates.
- We offer flexible sessions with both in-person therapy and secure online telehealth counseling options to best accommodate your needs and preferences.
- Please read our scheduling FAQ below for information about our 24-hour cancellation policy and fees, insurance, and residency requirements.
- Due to Federal and State regulations, we are unable to offer therapy services to Medicaid recipients or to individuals who live outside of Colorado.
Cancellation Policy & Fees
- 24 HOUR NOTICE: If you need to cancel or reschedule your session, please do so at least 24 hours in advance of the appointment.
- HOW TO CANCEL OR RESCHEDULE: Contact your therapist directly by phone or text on their direct line. If you do not know your counselor’s direct line, call our main line (720-468-0101) and then press * for our company directory.
Please do not leave messages or text the main line regarding cancellations, as these messages may not reach your counselor. - CANCELING MONDAY APPOINTMENTS: Sessions scheduled for Mondays require notice by 5:00 pm on the previous Friday, as our therapists do not typically work or check messages on the weekends.
- LATE CANCELLATION FEE: If you cancel or reschedule your session with less than the required notice, you will be charged the full fee for the appointment time. Likewise, you will be charged the full fee for any no-shows. Your payment information on file will be used to process the payment.
- GRACE CLAUSE: We understand that emergencies and sudden schedule changes happen, so we will allow you two “freebies” (late cancellations) per calendar year without incurring the fee if the following conditions are met:
- You contact your counselor on their direct line (phone or text) prior to the time of the session to reschedule. (If you contact your therapist to cancel after the session start time, it will be considered a no-show.)
- You attend your rescheduled session within two weeks of the original appointment date.
- INCLEMENT WEATHER OR ILLNESS: In case of bad weather or illness, you may still attend your therapy session via telehealth or phone in order to avoid the cancellation fee. Alternatively, you could use one of your “freebies,” if available. Communicate directly with your therapist about your situation as soon as possible to make these arrangements. If you are unable to meet either by video or phone and have given less than 24 hours notice, the late cancellation fee will be charged.
- APPOINTMENT REMINDERS: Although Colorado Counseling Center may send you email or text reminders about upcoming appointments, this is done as a courtesy and only if you consent to receive such communications by providing us with your contact information. It remains your sole responsibility to keep track of and attend all scheduled therapy appointments, whether or not you receive the reminders.
